Artist Bio
Gaby Espinoza is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Long Beach, California, whose primary medium is painting.
She earned a B.A. in Studio Art with a minor in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University.
In addition to her artistic practice, Espinoza is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board-Certified Art Therapist working in Los Angeles. Her experiences navigating the intersection of artist and therapist deeply inform her creative practice. As she continues her work in community mental health, these dual identities have become central themes in her recent paintings, exploring the relationship between emotional healing, identity, and human connection.
